Sunrise engagement session in Paris
Paris is one of the most romantic cities in the world — a dream destination for couples celebrating their love. In August, I had the pleasure of photographing Poorva and Eugene, a couple traveling from the United States, for their unforgettable engagement session in Paris.
We began our shoot at sunrise, when the city is still quiet and bathed in soft, golden light. This magical atmosphere allowed us to capture intimate and timeless images in two of the most iconic locations in Paris: Pont Alexandre III, with its ornate architecture and sweeping views of the Seine, and Trocadéro, where the Eiffel Tower stands majestically in the background.
Poorva and Eugene brought elegance and style to their session, carefully selecting two stunning outfits that perfectly complemented each setting.
Sunrise Engagement Session at Pont Alexandre III

We started Poorva and Eugene’s engagement session at Pont Alexandre III, one of Paris’s most iconic landmarks. The sun was just rising, casting a warm golden glow over the ornate lampposts, gilded statues, and the Seine below. At this early hour, the bridge was quiet and peaceful, creating the perfect setting for romantic and intimate portraits.
Poorva looked breathtaking in a deep violet sari, intricately embroidered with delicate pearls and featuring a long flowing train. Her outfit added a touch of cultural richness and elegance, perfectly contrasting with the classic Parisian backdrop.
We explored different spots around the bridge, capturing a variety of moods and perspectives — from timeless portraits on the bridge itself, to cinematic shots on the grand staircases, and finally down by the water, where the reflections of the morning light created a dreamy atmosphere.
This part of the session perfectly blended Parisian elegance with vibrant cultural heritage, resulting in images that feel both unique and timeless.
Glamorous Eiffel Tower Photos at Trocadéro

For the second part of their engagement session, we moved to the Trocadéro, a location renowned for its breathtaking panoramic views of the Eiffel Tower. By the time we arrived, the sun had risen higher, illuminating the iconic skyline and adding a soft glow to the Parisian morning.
Poorva changed into a stunning white strapless gown, perfectly fitted and adorned with ostrich feathers along the hemline, creating a dramatic and luxurious look. She completed the ensemble with matching feathered gloves, adding an extra touch of sophistication and vintage glamour.
We captured a series of romantic portraits against the beautiful Eiffel Tower backdrop, taking advantage of the sweeping stairs and clean architectural lines of the Trocadéro. As the session progressed, the mood shifted to something more playful and spontaneous, with Poorva and Eugene laughing, dancing, and simply enjoying the magic of the moment in the heart of Paris.
This final location perfectly rounded out their engagement session, combining glamour, iconic scenery, and heartfelt emotion — a beautiful representation of their love story and their journey toward marriage.

Where do I even begin? Clémence photographed our engagement session in Paris this August 2025 and absolutely blew us away! We’re beyond grateful for the care, effort and attention to detail she put into everything. From traveling to Paris and making early morning arrangements to having the most wonderful assistant – every part of the experience was seamless.
