My approach
as a wedding photographer

modern, timeless & natural images
My work combines an artistic eye with a documentary approach. I focus on real moments, genuine emotion, and all the subtle details that make your day feel like you.
When needed, I’ll gently guide you (without stiff poses) to create flattering, timeless portraits that still feel effortless and true.
A calm, reassuring presence
Most couples tell me they felt at ease quickly, even if they “hate being photographed”. I help with small direction, natural prompts, and the best light, so you can enjoy the experience instead of worrying about the camera.
In Paris, I especially love the contrast between elegant architecture and intimate moments: soft window light, refined interiors, and quick portraits that still feel relaxed, even in a busy city.

How I photograph
your wedding day in Paris
Getting ready
I often start with photographing your accessories: your dress, stationery, jewellery, and then the atmosphere with your closest friends and family when you are getting dressed. It’s a gentle way to ease into the day and capture the anticipation.
Ceremony
Whether you’re having a civil ceremony, a church wedding or an outdoor ceremony at a château, I focus on the key moments: your entrance, vows, reactions, and all the little gestures between you and your guests.
Cocktail hour
During the cocktail hour, I alternate between candid moments with your guests and a few family and couple portraits, often in the gardens or vineyards depending on your venue.
Evening
I stay for the dinner, speeches, first dance and the beginning of the party, so you can remember not only how everything looked, but how it felt.

Why Paris is a Masterclass in Light and Elegance
Paris is more than a backdrop; it is a masterclass in light and texture that I find endlessly inspiring. For a wedding photographer, the city offers a unique visual signature. From the soft, cream-colored Haussmannian facades that act as a natural reflector to the iconic grey zinc rooftops that define the Parisian skyline.
My expertise in the capital allows me to look beyond the classic landmarks. I know how the morning sun filters through the Tuileries Garden, and I understand the precise moments when the Louvre’s courtyards are bathed in a quiet, cinematic glow. Whether we are capturing your story on a hidden cobblestone street or against the grandeur of the Seine at sunrise, I use these architectural elements to frame your love with a touch of urban chic and timeless sophistication.

Getting married in Paris
venues & surroundings I love
Paris and nearby areas offer endless possibilities: elegant town venues, classic interiors, gardens, and beautiful châteaux just outside the city.
A few venue styles that photograph beautifully:
Just 20 minutes from Paris, this 18th-century château is a masterpiece of neoclassical architecture. Surrounded by sprawling gardens and peaceful woodlands, Château de Champlâtreux offers a majestic yet intimate atmosphere. Its grand staircase, ornate interiors, and manicured grounds are ideal for creating regal, storybook-like wedding portraits.
This historic château is known for its understated elegance and warm ambiance. Located in the Essonne region, Château de Nainville-les-Roches offers beautiful outdoor spaces, including charming courtyards and scenic gardens, perfect for romantic and natural photos. The classic French style of the château ensures timeless imagery.
This elegant venue, nestled in a forested area just north of Paris, offers both natural beauty and architectural splendor. Château de Saint-Martin-du-Tertre is known for its peaceful ambiance, lush gardens, and striking interiors. Whether you’re drawn to the sweeping lawns or the intricate details of its design, this château promises a timeless backdrop.

Engagement session in Paris
“Where do I even begin? Clémence photographed our engagement session in Paris and absolutely blew us away! We’re beyond grateful for the care, effort and attention to detail she put into everything. From traveling to Paris and making early morning arrangements to having the most wonderful assistant – every part of the experience was seamless. Her professionalism is unmatched, her dedication to her art is incredible and she captured this season of our lives so beautifully. We truly got the pictures of our dreams and we couldn’t be happier. We can’t wait to book her again as soon as the chance arises!”

“Clemence was absolutely amazing! I would recommend her to anyone. She took time to understand what we wanted and executed it beautifully.
She is kind, gracious and very passionate about her work. Not to mention that the photos turned out perfect. We are very appreciative of her capturing such a special day so wonderfully.”

Olivia & Joe
Elegant Château wedding
“Wow, what can I say about Clémence’s talent? My husband and I recently had the wedding of our dreams in France, where we were so luckily accompanied by Clémence, who captured our day perfectly. From the moment we met, she made everyone feel comfortable with her warm and welcoming smile, and calm approach.
We put all of our trust into Clémence and it certainly paid off because our photos (which we received after only 2 weeks!) helped us relive our perfect day from start to finish. The photos were well organised, from the ‘getting ready’ process, to the ceremony and party. The files were easily accessible which made it straightforward for us to send to our guests, whom were all in tears again!
We can only recommend everyone to use Clémence for their big day, you won’t regret it!”

FAQS
about Paris weddings
Do you help with timelines and photo planning?
Yes, I would love to help you! I can suggest a simple rhythm for portraits and key moments.
How many hours of coverage do you offer?
Most collections start with around 8 hours of coverage and can go up to 12 hours or more for full-day celebrations. We’ll decide together what suits your plans best.
What is the best time of day for our photo session in Paris?
To capture the city’s true magic without the crowds, I highly recommend a sunrise session. Iconic locations like the Trocadero or the Louvre pyramids are best experienced at dawn when the light is soft and the streets are quiet. For a more warm and golden atmosphere, we can also plan a Golden Hour session along the Seine or in the Tuileries Garden just before sunset.
How do we book?
After an email or video call, I send a detailed proposal. Your date is confirmed with a signed contract and booking retainer.
What happens if it rains on our wedding day in Paris?
Paris has a unique, cinematic charm in the rain, and I am well-prepared for it. We can utilize the city’s stunning architecture to stay dry while capturing beautiful images. The majestic arches of the Palais Royal provide perfect shelter with a high-end feel, and the historic Passages Couverts (like Galerie Vivienne) offer exquisite glass roofs and mosaic floors that are ideal for portraits. I also always carry elegant, transparent umbrellas to turn a rainy stroll along the Seine into a romantic, editorial moment.
How do we move between different photo locations in the city?
Paris is very walkable, especially in areas like Le Marais or the Île de la Cité. However, for a multi-location shoot (e.g., from the Eiffel Tower to Montmartre), the easiest and most comfortable way is to use a taxi or a ride-share app (G7 or Uber). This allows you to rest between shots and keeps your attire looking perfect throughout the day.
Do we need permits to shoot at iconic Parisian landmarks?
Most outdoor public spaces in Paris (streets, bridges, gardens) do not require a special permit for small couple sessions or elopements. However, for some specific locations like the interior of certain museums or private gardens, a fee or prior authorization might be required. I will guide you through the current regulations to ensure our shoot goes smoothly.
