Eloise and James journeyed from London to the Dordogne region of France to celebrate their wedding at Domaine d’Essendieras, a stunning château nestled in the middle of lush gardens and sprawling fields. This historic château offers a wealth of options for receptions and accommodations, making it the perfect setting for a truly memorable celebration.

The couple selected a refined color palette of soft greens and classic whites, creating a serene yet sophisticated atmosphere. Gypsophila, or baby’s breath, played a starring role in the floral design, draped delicately along the ceremony aisle and suspended as airy clouds above the reception tables, adding an ethereal charm to the decor.

The ceremony took place in the Romantic Garden, behind the estate’s oldest château. It was a heartfelt and emotional moment, with a violinist and one of their friends on guitar adding a gentle, musical backdrop.

Guests enjoyed cocktails in front of the more modern château, which offered breathtaking views of the French countryside.

Dinner was held under the elegant pagodas, situated at the end of a long fountain framed by stately cypress trees. The evening was filled with heartfelt and humorous speeches, culminating in the cutting of the cake and a dazzling fireworks display.
